The typical picture by the pool or sipping a cocktail before dinner are not exactly the most inspiring of pictures and certainly not somthing that you would have on your walls at home. But what you could do is take a photography holiday to a far flung country like Morocco. Morocco, with it’s beautiful country side, mountains, stunning architecture and bustling and vibrant markets is a fantastic place to flex your photographic muscles. Companies offer residential photography holidays which aim to improve your overall photography skills and techniques.

High Altitude trekking is generally considered to be any climbing or walking to an altitude of eight thousand feet or higher. There are many mountains all over the world that fall into this category, but some of the most famous are in the 7 summits of the world. These are the highest peaks in the seven continents; Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, The Artic and Antarctica. Out of these mountains the best known are Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. There are various routes you can choose from to trek to the summit but the most popular of these is the Machame Route, which is a 6-7 day trek starting on the southern side of the mountain.
