Within the agricultural industry the production of grain accounts for a large proportion of the arrible market. Once the grain has been harvested it then needs to be stored in a purpose built building while is is dried and prepared ready for transporting. The grain storage buildings can be very large, up to 100 feet in length and 50 foot wide. Within these steel frame buildings is the grain wall panels which are constructed to withstand the weight of the grain. These wall panels which are commonly made from precast concrete panels attached to the steel frame of the building can go up to 5 meters high will retain hundreds of tonnes of grain.
